Meet Linda Dennis, MSW, CMC, aka "Matchmaker-in-Chief."

Linda identifies the time, countless interests, and multitude of skills that our hundreds of volunteer members bring to the table. She works individually and with teams of interviewers, drivers, handymen, and other match-makers to accomplish the hundreds of creative exchanges that occur between volunteer members in any given week. She values every hour and skill contributed and counts it all toward the abundance in the community that enables all of us to support ourselves and each other.

Volunteer members of Partners In Care provide a long list of services, including rides to appointments of all kinds, grocery shopping, handyman repairs to maintain homes, advocacy for economic well-being, support for caregivers, and resource referral. Above and beyond the specific tasks that are accomplished, the real value is that members build a network of support for older adults. People are engaged and stay active in the community; they support eachother through life transitions of all kinds, and develop friends and relationships for a richer, healthier life.
