Hi All, This special request comes from the top – our own special Barbara Huston. The drainage pond in from of the boutique on Ritchie Highway is in desperate need of repairs and we have been notified by the county that we need to fix it ASAP. The repair involves a bank that has washed out and a split-rail/wire fence that needs to be put back in place. The work involves shoveling dirt back up the bank from where it washed out, seeding the area and putting down some curlex cover. In addition there are 2-3 fence posts that need to be concreted in again so the railing/wire fence can be reattached. In addition, we need to cut down the high weeds that are in the pond area, so if anyone has a grass whip, that would be a great help.
We would hope that the weather would cooperate that we could do this work this Saturday morning. Would anyone be available to assist? There is a possibility of rain today and tonight, hopefully not enough to make it too wet for us to work on Saturday. We’d like to get started by 9am. Thanks in advance, Eb and John

Thanks to a great response after the holidays, we have managed to take care of a number of outstanding jobs. When you get some free time in your hectic schedules, we would love to have you come by our new building at 90 S. Ritchie Highway to show it off! Look for the “New Home of Chesapeake Hospice” sign on the highway. Thanks, Eb and John
